You must be aged 35 years or under at the time of application.‍*Exceptions apply.

You must be in Australia when you apply.

You must have completed CRICOS-registered courses that:

• Are registered for at least 92 weeks
• Were completed in minimum 16 calendar months
• Meet the 2 academic years Australian Study Requirement

English evidence may be required at lodgement or later if requested, via an approved test score or an exemption.

Eligible AQF qualifications include:

• Recognised Apprenticeship
• Trade Qualification
• AQF Certificate III
• AQF Certificate IV
• AQF Diploma
• AQF Advanced Diploma
• Associate Degree

Your qualification must be completed within 6 months before applying.

Your nominated occupation must be on the Medium and Long-Term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL).

You must apply for a Skills Assessment at the time you lodge your visa application.‍The assessment must be for your nominated MLTSSL occupation and from the relevant assessing authority.

You must have:

• Held a student visa within the last 6 months, AND
• Currently hold a Bridging Visa A or Bridging Visa B granted on the basis of a valid visa application

You must provide evidence of Adequate Health Insurance for all applicants at the time of application.

You must provide evidence that you have applied for an Australian Federal Police (AFP) Check at the time of application.‍AFP must have been applied for within the last 12 months.

You must meet the English language score requirements based on the date of application.‍Test results must be within 1 year before application.Note: Full score tables differ for:

• BNO & Hong Kong passport holders
